Swivel Chair With Aluminum Base Senda
-------------------------------------
Senda combines an elegant design with the functionality of a swivel chair. It is a comfortable chair for meeting rooms, offices, and common areas. The bucket seat with integrated armrests ensures comfort during meetings and daily work, and the two available backrest heights allow the chair to be adjusted to the user’s needs. The base can be equipped with glides or casters to increase the chair’s mobility. The design, based on independent components, makes it easy to disassemble, reuse, or recycle them, aligning Senda with the principles of circular design.

- Made from easily recyclable materials, the Senda’s design allows the chair to be dismantled into individual components for recycling;
- The backrest is available in two heights, allowing the chair to be adapted to users’ needs;
- Integrated armrests enhance seating comfort, provide support for the arms and make it easier to stand up;
- The polished aluminium base provides the elegant character of the chair;
- 4-star base with optional castors promotes a dynamic sitting posture and makes it easy to move the chair around;
- The upholstered cushion ensures the chair remains comfortable even during prolonged sitting;
- The plastic bucket seat is durable and easy to maintain;
- The option to combine it with other chairs from the collection makes it easier to maintain a consistent look throughout the space;
- Made from flame-retardant foam, the seat meets fire safety requirements (compliant with CAL standard);
- Designed for various functional areas in offices, conference spaces, educational establishments, and public, commercial and private interiors

Trained in industrial design and marketing, Alejandro Valdés (Asturias, Spain, 1975) began his design trajectory in Milan and Barcelona working at Fiat Auto Advanced Design, Bonetto Design and Mario Ruiz design studio. From 2008 to 2019 he worked with Lievore Altherr Molina focused on the design development and project management of collections for Andreu World, Arper, Enea, Donati, Fast, Foscarini, Sellex, Tecno, Tribù and Verzelloni. In 2015 he completed the Master in Marketing Management at the EAE business school in Barcelona, which broadened his design strategic vision with an underlined "sense of market". With a natural sensitivity towards product design and a deep knowledge of technology and industrial processes, in 2019 he took the next step in his career when he opened his own studio in Barcelona. His approach to design is honest, essential and contemporary, seeking the natural balance that results from recognizable gestures, attention to details and coherent use of materials. Besides his work as a designer, Valdés is lecturer on the Master in Furniture Design at Elisava design school of Barcelona.
