Privacy of conversations and good working conditions- the Hako Meeting pods allow us to create comfortable and universal spaces. Depending on the user’s needs the pod can become a large phone booth or a meeting place of 2-4 people. It’s a space dedicated to quiet work, important conversations and brainstorming. Lighting and quiet ventilation system ensure optimal working conditions, while eliminated floor facilities cable management and system configuration. The Hako Meeting pod ensures boosted concentration and privacy of discussions; it’s an alternative to conference and meeting rooms.

Ceiling - upholstered, equipped with lighting and exhaust fans;
Upholstered wall - full, 75 mm thick, upholstered on both sides acoustic filling with sound isolation properties;
Columns - 75x75 mm, powder coated;
Shelf (option with extra charge) - 12 mm MDF, colour: black, can be mounted only to upholstered walls with 1000 mm width;

As standard, the structure of the Hako booth can have one of the three colours: anthracite, light grey or red. With an additional charge, it is possible to choose any other colour for the metal profiles.

Does the booth have to have a floor?

In the standard version, the Hako booth does not have a floor. It is possible to select a floor as an option with an additional charge – recommended if the floor in the planned location of the booth is hard.

Where inside the booth is the light switch located?

In the one-person booth, the light is activated by a motion sensor, that switches on the light and ventilation. In the multi-person booths, the light switch is located near the entrance.

How many people are required to assemble the booth?

Two people are needed to assemble the booth.

How long does it take to assemble the booth?

The assembly takes approximately 2 hours.

What is needed to assemble the booth?

A ladder will be needed to assemble the booth.

Does the room, where the booth will be assembled, have to be significantly higher?

No, the walls of the booth are mounted from the sides, there is no need to slide them from above.

Does the booth have to be mounted to the floor?

No. This way the booth does not damage the floor in the room.

No, it is enough to simply plug the booth into a standard socket.

Where in the booth is the electrical connection located?

The electrical connection is located in the ceiling. The booth can be connected by pulling the cables from the floor to the ceiling, or by pulling the cable from the floor or the walls, using a zipped grommet located in the bottom part of each upholstered wall. The grommet allows the cables to be pulled through the wall and to access the opening C-shaped cut-out.

Is the booth adapted to the 110V voltage in the USA?

Yes, the booth automatically adapts to the voltage.

Can an already assembled booth be taken apart and reassembled elsewhere?

Yes, it is possible to take the booth apart and assemble it repeatedly.

How are the Hako booths packed?

The Hako booths are packaged in secure crates and their individual elements are fixed on wooden hangers. All panels are carefully secured with foil.

Are the Hako booths shipped in one piece?

No, the booths are not transported in one piece, but rather in parts that can be easily moved.

What are the dimensions and weight of the crate?

Dimensions: 2250 x 1479 x 870 mm, weight: Hako – 1 package – 360 kg, Hako Meeting – 1 package – 503 kg, Hako Meeting XL – 2 package – 855 kg. Depending on the configuration, Hako booths are shipped in 1 (HK01, HK02, HK04), w 2 (HK03, HK05) or 3 (HK06, HK07) crates.

Dymitr Malcew

Dymitr is een Poolse ontwerper. Hij studeerde af aan de Technische Universiteit van Gdansk, met een faculteit in Architectuur en Stedenbouw. In 2006 verhuisde hij naar Londen en 4 jaar later reisde hij naar Azië, waar hij besloot zich te vestigen. Hij deed ervaring op terwijl hij werkte met gerenommeerde ontwerpbureaus en runt momenteel zijn eigen bedrijf in Singapore. Hij is een architect, interieur- en meubelontwerper. Zijn projecten kwamen tot leven in de meeste Aziatische landen: Singapore, Indonesië, Maleisië, China, India, Birma, Vietnam, Taiwan en de Filipijnen. De lijst van zijn klanten varieert van prestigieuze bedrijven en andere dynamisch groeiende ondernemingen tot particuliere investeerders die innovatie willen. Dymitr werkt in veel gebieden van het bedrijfsleven, hij ontwerpt moderne bureaus maar ook luxueuze hotels of privéwoningen. Hij gebruikt zijn uitgebreide kennis van architectuur perfect en past deze toe in zijn meubelontwerp en productcreatie.
