Double Sofa Artiko

The name Artiko correlates to the idea behind the design. In Esperanto, it means “joint”, and the series is based on the possibility to freely join differently shaped modules. Components with backrests can be arranged in a way that there are seats on both sides of the backrest. Double-sided sofas created by this configuration are a perfect fit for public spaces. They will complement interior arrangements in office and school chill-out zones, hotel lobbies, waiting rooms, train station and airport halls, even shopping centres – and they will allow for a moment of rest or a conversation everywhere. The functionality of a double-sided sofa can be enhanced by additional tables and mediaboxes, and the wide range of upholstery materials will help match the sofa to the space. Artiko will liven up each space, introducing some colour into it and inviting for an interaction between users.

Can I freely combine the modules to create my own Artiko configuration?

The sofa has been designed so that each element can be combined with each other in such a way that any form can be achieved. You will build your Artiko sofa using the 3D modular configurator available on the product page.

What are the Artiko modules made of?

The frame is made of wood-based materials and wood, and the seat is made with A-type corrugated springs and a thick layer of cut foam. As a result, the sofa remains comfortable during long-term use.

Where are the mediaports located?

Electrical sockets and mediaboxes are fixed to the seat of the sofa, which increases the functionality of the furniture.

How long is the power cable of the mediaport?

The length of the power cable is 1.5 m.

Is creasing of the sofa upholstery normal?

Upholstery, especially leather, may exhibit some creasing. It is also possible that the upholstery has become creased as a result of transport and securing the items for delivery. In this case, the creasing usually disappears on its own within a few days.

Can the upholstery stretch and crease?

When upholstering the Artiko sofa, special upholstery stitching was used to help the fabric fit the shape of the seat better. Although they reduce the risk of wrinkling and stretching of the fabric, they do not eliminate it completely - slight wrinkling may appear during use, which is a natural effect of the upholstery.

Why does the upholstery fray and pull?

This is a normal phenomenon related to the wear and tear of the fabric under frequent use.

What should I do if the sofa modules are not aligned?

In such situations, you need to correct the assembly of the elements and properly pull the upholstery in the desired direction, thus aligning adjacent elements: Assembly manuals and Upholstery smoothing instruction.

How do I safely unpack the delivered upholstered items?

We do not recommend using sharp tools when unpacking the goods, as mechanical damage to the furniture can occur, e.g. cutting the upholstery when cutting the protective foil. There is usually a warning sticker on the foil regarding the use of sharp tools.

What to do if the connecting strips are missing?

In such a situation, the first thing to do is to check whether the connecting strips are included in the Artiko model in question. If they are included in the component but have not been supplied, please contact Customer Service.

What should I do if the table is damaged after unpacking?

We pay great attention to protect the products during transport. We also do not recommend using sharp tools to unpack products from bubble wrap. However, if despite this, the unpacked goods have visible manufacturing defects, please contact Customer Service.

How do I prevent the feet from damaging and falling off?

Due to its weight, the Artiko should not be moved, but only lifted. Moving the modules may lead to damage to the structure, the mechanisms becoming worn out and the feet falling off.
