Bench Flaner

The minimalist metal Flaner bench answers the needs of contemporary outdoor spaces, but would work equally well in private and public interiors. Like the other furniture in the collection designed by Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska, the bench is supported on distinctive curved legs inspired by the shapes of branches. Made of sheet steel, it is easy to maintain and clean, as well as weatherproof.

Yes. The Flaner outdoor bench is painted with a GSB- and Qualicoat-compliant exterior powder coating that is UV-resistant and abrasion-resistant. As a result, it performs well in sunny areas.

Yes. The Flaner outdoor bench is made of galvanised steel sheet and painted with an exterior powder coating, which effectively protects it from corrosion.

Design

Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska

Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska was born in in Fointainebleau, France, in 1983. In 2007, she graduated from the prestigious ECAL’s industrial design course in Lausanne, and was awarded a scholarship from the IKEA foundation. She has worked in recognised design studios, e.g. for Konstantin Grcic, Alexander Taylor and Galerie kreo. In 2012, she established her own studio – Office for Design & Research. The studio focuses on industrial design (furniture, lighting, functional objects), research projects and exhibitions. Her clients include amongst other: Ligne Roset, Kvadrat, Plato, Trame, Vitra, Hermès, St. Etienne Design Biennale, London Design Festival, Instytut Adama Mickiewicza, Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej in Warsaw. Her work has participated in numerous Polish and international exhibitions, e.g.: Design Museum, Centre Pompidou Metz, Villa Noailles, The Aram gallery and Triennale di Milano. In 2012, Maria curated the “Punkty Widzenia / Punkty Siedzenia” (“Ways of Seeing/Sitting”) exhibition at the Łódź Design Festival. In 2016, she was the co-curator and designer of the Polish Pavilion at the London Design Biennale. Between 2018 and 2020, she worked as the creative director of the ARENA DESIGN fair in Poznań, Poland.
