Modern comfort

All pieces form the Ultra collection, especially the armchairs, were designed with comfort in mind. Made of soft foam, the seat, together with integrated backrest and armrests has been profiled according to ergonomic principles. It remains comfortable even when sitting for long periods of time. The comfort is further enhanced by the optional back cushion.
Tailor-made functionality
The wide variety of available models ensures that each Ultra can be tailored to the user's needs. Choose the seat with or without a cushion, the material for the base (wood, powder-coated metal, polished aluminium) and its form and functionality (swivel, height-adjustable, sledge, 4 legs), and rest assured that your Ultra meets the needs of the users and of the design.

‘In my designs, I focus on a harmonious collaboration of form and function, paying equal attention to comfort of use and the character of the furniture. The choice of materials and the quality of workmanship are key, so that the user feels that the product fits them perfectly and is made with the utmost precision.’

As a hands-on designer my work process combines a full-scale models and prototypes with technology research and advance cad modelling. This methodical approach is focused on revealing the essence of each design. I believe experiencing the product is the only way to develop valuable furniture. Fundamentally I look at design as an exercise in creating value.
