  • Is acoustic glass used in the Coda booth?

Yes, both the door and the back panel are made of acoustic glass.

What elements does the Coda booth consist of?

The top and bottom parts are made of multi-layer MDF, upholstered on the inside. External walls are made of powder-coated sheet metal with acoustic–insulating filling and the internal walls are upholstered. The door and the back panel are made of acoustic glass, and the floor – of acoustic carpet.

What elements does the wall of the Coda booth consist of?

The wall of the booth consists of tin panels, bolted together from the inside.

What are the features of the booth’s ventilation system?

In the Coda booth, the supply fan is located in the ceiling and the air outlet – between the floor and the upholstered walls. The air intake can be adjusted using the control panel.

Where inside the booth is the light switch located?

The light is activated by a motion sensor, that switches on the light, ventilation and the illumination of the control panel.

How many times per hour is the air exchanged in the booth?

    73 CFM (124m3/h).

How much power does the booth consume in the standby mode?

In the standby mode, the booth consumes ca. 0,9W: power supply - 0,1W, display of the control panel - 0,4W (10% of which is the backlight), PCB board – 0,04W, green lights – 0,4W.

How long does it take to assemble the booth?

The assembly takes approximately 2 hours.

How many people are required to assemble the booth?

Two people are needed to assemble the booth.

What is needed to assemble the booth?

A ladder will be needed to assemble the booth.

Does the room, where the booth will be assembled, have to be significantly higher?

Only around 0,5 m of free space is needed to install the ceiling, so the booth can be placed in interiors that are at least 2,8 m high.

Does the booth have to be mounted to the floor?

No. This way the booth does not damage the floor in the room. Additionally, Coda is equipped with integrated transport castors – after placing it in the final location, the regulators are turned up, so that the castors lift up and stabilise the booth.

Is an electrician required to connect the booth to electricity?

No, it is enough to simply plug the booth into a standard socket.

Where in the booth is the electrical connection located?

The Coda booth can be plugged in from the ceiling or from the floor – the decision has to be made during assembly.

Can an already assembled booth be taken apart and reassembled elsewhere?

Yes, it is possible to take the booth apart and assemble it repeatedly.

How are the Coda booths packed?

The individual elements of the Coda booth are packed in secure parcels and placed in a transport crate.

Does the Coda booth have a media port?

The booth has a media port equipped with two 230V power sockets, a USB A charger and a USB C charger. The media port is integrated into the booth’s electrical system and requires no additional power supply.

Where is the internal lightning of the booth located?

Two LED strips are placed on the ceiling recess. The intensity of the light can be adjusted using the control panel.

What are the booth’s external lights for?

This is an indication of the booth’s availability – once the user enters the booth, the green signal changes into red (activated by the motion sensor).

Does the Coda booth have any additional equipment?

The booth is also equipped with a worktop with a shelf, as well as a clothes hanger.

Designed by Christopher Nobles, the Coda acoustic booth supports the sound quality of open offices and public spaces. The modern booth is a combination of functionality, aesthetics and technology, providing silence and privacy for phone calls, video conferences and individual quiet work. External lights signal the booth's availability; they are red when someone is inside. They can be turned on and off via a control panel that is also connected to the systems of interior ventilation and lighting. The user can adjust the strength of the fan and the brightness of the light to suit their needs. The quiet ventilators do not interfere with conversation or concentration, and the steel construction blends harmoniously with the sound-absorbing glass and upholstered elements. As a result, the Coda will work perfectly even in dynamic, noisy, and lively interiors.
